In-depth analysis

Still waiting for the first bands to be officially announced for the Graspop festvial. Some names have leaked (and I like 'em) but I'd rather they were confirmed on the Graspop site itself. Anyway, some bands have added Graspop on their official site or told the Belgian crowd that they would be playing at GMM on their previous concerts in this country. Opeth, Saxon, Edguy and Helloween are very likely to come to GMM, I like them. Still no word on Metallica though, someone on the Graspop forums has suggested that the organisation is waiting to announce names until Metallica puts Graspop on their tour list. Now the last date Metallica has added is June 15th and Graspop is June 23-25th so it could still take some time. Let's hope not, I want my Sunday ticket asap if Metallica plays. I probably won't go to the entire festival because I have exams, so there better be some heavy bands playing on Sunday!

Now, what's new? My current pair of socks maybe, I've never seen them before in my life. Lying in my bed the day before yesterday I thought something like 'Why not introduce yourself in your blog?' I shivered while thinking 'blog' and I continued thinking. 'Why not tell [insert random person] about things that interest you in life? You know, talk about music, games, beer, whatever you like!' Then some other voice in my head (there are quite a lot of them, must be crowded up there) disagreed. 'Why should I do that? It will be tedious, dull, and some other words to say boring!' 'What? You are boring!' said the first voice. 'All what you say are you self!' said the second voice, whose knowledge of the English language isn't quite how it should be. 'My name is Reggie, I'm about kicking ass and taking names!' said a third voice. 'Buzz off, I am the law.' hissed the Xbox 360 fanboy voice (how did he get up there?). 'Heavy metal is the law!' the Helloween voice announced. 'STOP! GET OUT! You're the strong arm of the law!' the Saxon voice screamed. 'Haaaaai dee hai dooo hai da!' the Accept voice chanted. 'Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?' the Queen voices sang, thinking a huge musical symphony was going on in my head.

By then I had decided that thinking was a bad thing and I decided to watch a movie instead. During Spirited Away all the voices in my head dozed off (except the one miserably sighing 'Why oh why do all those Japanese people have high, squeaky voices?') and after the movie I went to bed and was able to fall asleep rather fast. Last night the same thought from voice one crossed my mind again. Luckily the Mister T voice was able to prevent other voices from saying anything by constantly shouting 'I pity you, fool!' to whoever opened his mouth and thing were quite quiet in my head. So who knows, maybe my next posts here will contain some more information about stuff I like. Maybe they won't. Probably they'll just contain some other schizophrenic conversation like the one above. They're quite fun to write, although it's irritating that while I'm writing, all the voices in my head are screaming stuff like 'I want to be in the discussion too! What?! The Saxon voice wasn't there that day, he was out drinking with Twisted Sister! Damn you Van Goylen and damn the broccoli!' Cheers to the guys that made the cut, to the other ones I just say: better luck next time. 'Screw this, I'm hitting the road. So long suckers!'
