Now it's official: Guitar Hero is one of the best games ever made. Because I say so. And the Ray soundtrack is ace. Because I say so.

Guitar Hero is the most intuitive, most addicting and most roxorz-your-boxorz game I have played since I started gaming a long time ago. It features a lot of great rock songs and some nice characters (Iggy & Grim for teh uberwin!), the backgrounds are great and the audience is hilarious. And of course you just feel like a bad ass mother[Oh dear Lord!]er when you play this game. Especially when you beat highscores all over the place, lol! Just kidding.
Wait a minute, I wasn't kidding. I beat a whole bunch of scores and I'm proud of it! Eat my dirt, Stevie Ray Vaughan! No no no, please don't make me play on Expert! No! Bad Stevie! Turn that off! No, I said--

Damn you, Stevie! Guitar Hero is great at making you feel like God for one tiny moment and then making you look like a complete pile of turd seconds later. It's genius, really. I like the 'feeling like God' moments, especially when playing a bad ass mother[He's at it again! Hide the children!]ing song like Sharp Dressed Men or Ace Of Spades. Or even better, Texas Flood. Playing the blues and Sylvester StallOwning at the same time. See what I did there? Made myself a little word joke! I'm so clever, it's not funny anymore. I so totally rock.
