Congratulations, it's a ... blog?

So, I too became a victim of the blogging hype that is spreading with ominous speed across the internet. To be honest, I don't know what "blog" stands for (and I don't really give a hoot) and I think it's a dreadful word. Speaking the word "blog" out loud in public makes you feel as if all those pronunciation lessons in high school weren't worth their money. Not that I had to pay for those lessons, but I did expect to learn better words than "blog" there. The wrong thing about the damn word is that your mouth is still open when the word is over. When you're finished pronouncing the "g", it feels like you're ready to choke or puke. I think "blog" is a disgrace to the English language, if the bloody word is at all English. I honestly believe that the word was not made by any organism on this planet. It was conceived before our time and it holds the very meaning of our lives. It just has to, those four letters have no other purpose.

So why start a blog? Who knows? Who cares? Sometimes I just feel the need to write stuff down, like all intelligent people do. Why am I not writing in my native language (Dutch)? Who knows? Who cares? "Well, I bloody care, start talking Dutch already!" some of you might be thinking, but why should I care that you care? I care about everyone around me (hey, just making myself popular here) but I really don't give a hoot about their language preference. If you should feel the need to comment in ancient Arabic or Hebrew, feel free to do so. It would probably make the world a better place, some weird and completely incomprehensible human actions tend to do that.

I guess that's all for now, my inspiration has gone missing and I haven't found it yet. However, I do know that it's located in a small black suitcase somewhere in the mid-lower areas of the Himalayas. Should you be so unlucky to stumble over it and break your legs in the process, please let me know. I could use a good laugh and the inspiration would be welcome too.
