Pretty pissed off

Remember the last part of my previous post where I promised to attend more classes this week? Well, I failed. I don't exactly know why I'm not attending them (probably laziness), but I feel guilty about it afterwards. Who knows, maybe better luck next week?

Now, the title of this post is actually based on the Guns 'N Roses song Pretty Tied Up, to which I'm listening right now. What I'm about to say is, however, not about one of the greatest rockbands in history, but about my fellow crewmember Indy. The guy has pissed me off even more than he usually does over the last few days, but I doubt he has noticed. Perhaps I should have told him about it to avoid another explosion of anger later on (either from me or from him), but at the moment I just don't feel like it.

I wonder why I'm so pissed off. After all, the reason why is nothing important. It's just the fact that he never agrees with my standpoint on gaming (well, there is that 0,01% in which he does agree) and I really hate him for it. Like I said, no big deal. That's why I'm wasting my time writing about it in this blog, so that I wouldn't have to waste my time talking to him about it. Personally, I think it's not much use trying to convince him of anything, since we both are very stubborn and a discussion would only lead to more frustration.

So what don't we not agree on? Just about everything, I guess. But that's Indy and that's a problem every single one from the crew is facing, as far as I can tell. If everyone agrees to do something, he will tell us that our idea is completely wrong. He would rather do things the other way 'round, which aggravates the other crewmembers from time to time. In my case, I'm getting pissed because he is hyping the Xbox 360 beyond reason. I mean wth, you've told us nothing but "Xbox sucks"-like comments during the last three years and now suddenly you're trying to convince me that I absolutely, positively have to get a 360 in my living room? Sorry, ain't gonna happen.

Maybe that's the reason why he says he doesn't like the Revolution, because I've told him that I would be buying the Revo, no matter how much it costs. Now Indy is spreading rumours about the Revolution price that make no sense at all. At the moment, I believe the guy wants the Revolution to be expensive, so that a) he'll have a good laugh because I will pay that much money for the console and b) he wants the Revolution to fail (the console will need a low price to be successful, that's a fact) to prove his point that the Revolution controller will not work. Anyway, he's also saying some other stuff that's awfully 'what the--' in my opinion, like the fact that he is hugely dissapointed by the GameCube. I don't know what games the guys plays on his PS2 or PC to make him reject the great fun times we had with the crew while playing a whole bunch of Nintendogames in multiplayer, but that's just him, I guess. I must admit there aren't that many huge singleplayer games available for GameCube (not the type he likes anyway, didn't probably even bother to play the Metroid Prime games), but you can't ignore the fact that GameCube is a hella lot better for fun multiplayer evenings with friends than the PS2.

Aah, this felt good. I still don't like the word 'blog', but I'm starting to like what it stands for. It feels great letting off steam with written words, talking to yourself and stuff. Now, I'm off to watch the second episode from the second season of Lost, see you around.
