Tomorrow

It's been a while since I last posted here, about four days I guess. Since then, the Xbox 360 has finally arrived in Europe. The launch was insane. Two of my fellow crewmembers at PlayStage got up around 6-7 AM to be ready in front of the game shops when they opened. They ran faster than they ever did in their entire lives (I mean wth, it's only a console) and yet didn't get their hands on one of those 360s. The next shop only had 360s for those (very smart) people who had preordered the damn thing and so Indy and BM returned home with a lot of anger and disappointment and without an Xbox 360. They decided to accept a special offer for game journalists from Microsoft, which I suggested in the first place since you save 200 Euros with it, which mean's they'll have to wait until February 2006 for their 360. I can't say that I didn't have a good laugh when the guys returned home 360-less, but at the same time I felt (a little bit) sorry for them. Ah well, now they have the special offer including two free games and a free year of Xbox Live Gold. Can't complain eh?

In the chaotic hype surrounding the launch, I decided to do things my own way and so I started my saving plan for the Revolution. Each month, a certain amount of money is put on one of my bank accounts (I don't exactly know why I have multiple bank accounts) and by the end of 2006 I should have more than enough to buy the Revo and some games with it, too. I'm really looking forward to games like Super Smash Bros. Revolution and I'm curious about the surprise in the controller that Miyamoto mentioned in an interview.

Tomorrow my new life at school will begin, hopefully. I'll try to attend all classes again (been skipping morning lessons for the last weeks) and study on a more regular basis. Wish me good luck and see you next time.
